ENVIROMUX-16D

Dorset, UK: Network Technologies Inc (NTI) announces that it has enhanced its ENVIROMUX-2D/5D/16D Enterprise Environment Monitoring Systems units to support cascading. Up to five units can be connected together to increase the number of sensors connected.

Cascade up to four ENVIROMUX-2D/5D/16D units as slaves to one ENVIROMUX-2D/5D/16D master unit via Ethernet connection. Each master and slave unit requires its own unique IP address that is entered into the master unit's web interface. All connected systems and sensors are controlled by a single web interface.

Additionally, up to four ENVIROMUX-16D units can be cascaded as slaves to one ENVIROMUX-16D master unit CAT5/5e/6 patch cables with RJ45 connectors wired straight through—the last unit requires a terminating plug (not included). Up to 4,000 feet of CATx cable can run between the master and last slave unit. Each slave unit in this RS485 configuration needs its own unique RS485 address value that can range from 1 to 255. All units in the RS485 configuration also use a single Web interface for all systems and sensors connected for convenient control.

The ENVIROMUX-2D/5D/16D Enterprise Environment Monitoring Systems monitor critical environmental conditions, such as temperature, humidity, liquid water presence, power, intrusion, and smoke. When a sensor goes out of range of a configurable threshold, the system will send notifications via email, LEDs, alarm beacons, sirens, web page, network management (SNMP), voice phone calls (via Automatic Voice Dialer System), and SMS messages (via external USB 3G modem). They are ideal for using in data centers, co-lo sites, web hosting facilities, telecom switching sites, POP sites, server closets, or any unmanned area that needs to be monitored.

The ENVIROMUX-2D/5D/16D is available for immediate sale.
