HDMI 2.0 EDID Emulator
The HDMI 2.0 EDID Emulator copies the EDID of the desired HDMI display and connects directly to the HDMI source to ensure that the EDID is not lost in connections between devices such as switches, splitters, and extenders.
Supports headless operation – no monitor attached to source.

DisplayPort Hotplug Maintainer
The DisplayPort Hotplug Maintainer emulates a DisplayPort display (sink device) by maintaining a hotplug signal between a video source and sink/display. When used with a KVM/video switch, the DP-HP-MNTR-SRC eliminates the need to reconfigure monitor settings when switching between computers.

DisplayPort 1.2 EDID Emulator
Overview
The DisplayPort 1.2 EDID Emulator copies the EDID of the desired DisplayPort display and connects directly to the DisplayPort source to ensure that the EDID is not lost in connections between devices such as splitters and extenders.
Does not support headless operation – monitor must be connected.
Does not support DisplayPort Multi-Stream Transport (MST).
Not recommended for use in conjunction with KVM or video-only switches.Reason: When the input channel is deselected, the emulator will be powered off. The host computer connected to that input channel via DP emulator will recognize the emulated monitor as disconnected. An emulator supporting headless and video pass-through operations is required for KVM switch applications.
NTI is working on a solution, but we do not have an ETA at this time. Contact an NTI product consultant for more information on the DisplayPort Hotplug Maintainer.
