DORSET, UK: Network Technologies International (NTI) Introduces the VOPEX DVI Video Splitter/Extender with Audio via CAT5/6/7 HDMI Video Splitter.

The VOPEX DVI Splitter/Extender simultaneously distributes high resolution single link digital DVI video from one video source to up to 16 displays, each located up to 300 feet away using a single CAT5e/6/7 cable. Broadcast real-time DVI video to multiple display locations.

The DVI video splitters/extenders support HDTV resolutions to 1080p and computer resolutions to 1920x1200, are HDCP compliant, and support the DDC2B protocol. These units give full IR control of a DVI source from a remote HDTV using the existing source remote control. The VOPEX system uses EDID learning, the capabilities provided by the digital display provide the support for any DVI display device. No additional power supplies are required for the remote units.

These units are available with optional audio that can be broadcast to self-powered stereo speakers at each remote location and optionally to the local unit. The units are available with an optional local access support for a local DVI display. Multiple units can be cascaded for numerous display configurations. The VOPEX DVI video splitters/extenders are ideal for use in digital signage, tradeshows, or classrooms where high quality video on multiple monitors is needed.
