XTENDEX® ST-2FODVIDD-LC (Local and Remote Units)

Dorset, UK: Network Technologies Inc (NTI) announces the addition of the DVI-D Dual Link Extender via Two Fiber Optic Cable to its popular line of video extenders.

The XTENDEX® DVI-D Dual Link Extender via Fiber Optic Cable extends a digital flat panel display up to 1,640 feet (500 meters) away from a DVI-D dual link video source using a 2-strand fiber optic cable. Each DVI optical extender consists of a transmitter that connects to a computer and a receiver that connects to a monitor.

The ST-2FODVIDD-LC DVI-D Dual Link Extender supports uncompressed 2560x1600 WQXGA and 3840x2400 WQUXGA resolutions for dual link devices. HDTV resolutions up to 1080p are also supported. Signals are transmitted by two-strand multimode LC fiber optic cable, ensuring no RF interference. Additionally, the extender has low RFI/EMI for sensitive applications and virtual DCC through self-EDID programming.

The DVI-D Dual Link Extender comes with plug-and-play functionality—no software or drivers are required for installation. With compact dimensions of 1.54x2.83x0.59 inches, the units enable easy connection and placement. Cables can be installed in conduit prior to extender installation. A single duplex LC 50-micron or 62.5-micron multimode fiber optic cable can be used to extend the receiver from the transmitter up to 1,640 feet (500 meters).

The XTENDEX DVI-D Dual Link Extender via Two Fiber Optic Cable is available for immediate sale.
