Dorset, UK: Network Technologies Inc (NTI) today announced the addition of the Low-Cost 2-Port HDMI Switch with Direct HDMI In and CAT6 Out to its popular line of video switches. Use the unit to switch between two HDMI sources and extend one HDMI display up to 30.5 meters (100 feet).
The SE-C6HDR-2 connects to two HDMI video sources directly at the switch and one video display via the receiver with a maximum extension of 30.5 meters (100 feet) from the switch using CAT6 cable. The unit supports HDTV resolutions to 1080p and passes HDMI audio. HDMI features supported include 12-bit Deep Color and 3D. Ideal for eliminating redundant video displays, the unit is compliant with HDMI 1.3, HDCP 1.1, and DVI 1.1 standards. A built-in EDID table enables smooth manual switching between video sources.
With dimensions of 3.94x2.56x0.98 inches, the SE-C6HDR-2 provides a compact solution for switching between two HDMI sources. DVI to HDMI cables can be used to connect DVI sources or displays. Use CAT6 straight through cable for TIA/EIA-568B wiring terminated with standard RJ45 connectors (not included) to extend one HDMI display up to 30.5 meters (100 feet) away.
